A Year In The Life Of Kew Gardens
My editor Anne used to produce the Kew diary every year. She suggested I do a book on the gardens. It was a year of privilege having a pass to go into the gardens any time I liked to take photo’s of this wonderful place. I went in one summer morning at 5.30am after a thunder storm. It was steaming and magical like a tropical island, green and lush and one of my best memories. For this book I did a lot of macro photography using especially a 110mm macro lens. I was inspired and influenced by the fabulous plant photography of Sue Bishop.
